During a walk in the Red Light District in Amsterdam, David a successful book publisher meets Christina, a French girl with whom he exchanges caresses. David takes Christina to his hotel to introduce her to his friend Matt, a failed writer who has been in celibacy since David stole his girlfriend two years earlier.

The presence of the voluptuous and attractive young woman seduces and inhibits the strange, timid and weak Matt triggering the combustion of something asleep for a long time. A desperate loneliness gives way to a sudden and unbridled passion. Matt discovers a new kind of masochism that resembles platonic love of old romances.
